Jayden Jensen, August 30, 1992-June 22, 2010

Jayden Jensen, chrissened Aleksandr Bjorn Franz Jensen, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010. He was the son of Micah Chevok Jensen and Bella Jensen. Siblings included Julius, Austen, and Gretta.
Jayden was born in Oslo, Norway and raised for quite a few years with his grandparents in Limerick, Ireland where he attended boarding school.
Jayden was a very amazing young man who was skilled in many areas. He loved playing soccer and tennis and grew to love guitar from his father. He was the team captain of his high school soccer team and was always optimistic and enthusiastic during practices and games. He had many friends and did well in school, especially in music class. His lifelong dream was to become a biochemist and work for CSI. He developed an avid interest in medical jobs at a very young age. His mother, a dietician and physical therapist, encouraged him to take science classes and health classes in high school and look into medical schooling.
Jayden was a very sweet person with an amazing personality. He was always helping others, volunteering around the community, and spending quality time with friends and family. He was always smiling and was constantly lifting others up with his bright personality. He was a blessing to his parents, brothers and sister, and friends. He will be long missed.
Micah and Bella Jensen, Jayden's parents, hope to raise suicide awareness in children and teens, as they have now lost two of their children to this tragedy, including their oldest son Seamus Jensen in January, 2001. They urge parents to recognize possible signs of depression or suicide potential to avoid tragedy.
Jayden will be cremated Friday, June 25, 2010. His funeral service will be help on Saturday, June 26, 2010 in which his urn will be on display in the Jensen residence. On Sunday, Micah and Bella will fly to Oslo where his main memorial service will be held in St. Peter Cathedral. Following, his urn will then be placed in the columbarium inside the Jensen Niche in St. Greenich Cemetary.
